An Asylum Residency

The An Asylum Residency program is a sanctuary for artists looking to immerse themselves in an environment of creative experimentation and professional development. The program places a strong emphasis on fostering a culture of collaboration, risk-taking, and learning, enabling artists to push the boundaries of their work and explore new ideas.

As a resident of An Asylum, artists are provided with a private, furnished studio space, 24-hour access to all facilities, and a monthly expense allowance, ensuring that they have the resources they need to bring their projects to life. In addition, a project budget is available to cover any additional material expenses that may arise, with residents encouraged to seek external funding to support their projects if needed.

The An Asylum Residency program is dedicated to providing a supportive and inspiring environment for artists to engage in dialogue and experiment with their craft. Through regular opportunities for peer and professional interaction, artists are exposed to a range of perspectives and given the tools they need to develop their skills and navigate the world of art production.

Interested artists are invited to submit an expression of interest, along with a portfolio of sample works, for consideration.
