Boro Tote Bags – Limited Collection

Recently we were unable to experience anything familiar; with our obscured path replaced with something like a pure, relation-less consciousness.

Boro, a traditional Japanese patchwork style, grew out of necessity as opposed to aesthetics. Tattered clothing were often patched with small piece of scrap fabric to prolong its longevity. Over time, what may have been shameful to its original owners is now beautiful to us.

Through the concept of boro, each stitch we've sewn may have been an ironic reminder of escaping time, and since it was everything in the moment, nothing ultimately had any essence.

However, there's a different flavour of emotion in our hands that sometimes machines can't achieve. Each artwork sewn on by hand has every stitch unique to itself, every inch of fibre apart from another, and now a part of you – creating new moments by recreating old memories.
